Seaside Cottage Rental Policy

Before enjoying your stay at Seaside Cottage review the following information. Please note no smoking is permitted at the cottage and limited pets are permitted. The cottage is not wheel chair accessible.

Reservations

A deposit of $200.00 must accompany all reservations. This fee is fully refundable if you have notified the owner 30 days prior to the rental day. Half the deposit is refundable when you notify the owner 15 days prior to the rental day. No refunds are permitted less than 15 days of the rental day.
The Cottage is NON smoking.

Security/Damage Deposit

A $100 damage deposit must be given before arrival, should damage occur or unreasonable cleaning be needed to restore the rental for new occupancy. Guests are responsible for any and all damage they may cause during their stay. Liability is not limited to the damage deposit. If damage caused by the renter to any part of the rental property exceeds the amount of the damage deposit, renter agrees that they are responsible to pay the full cost of replacement or repair of the damaged items. Upon vacating, guests are responsible for keeping the premises tidy.
Deposit is returned at check-out.

Rental Fees

Rental fees are due the day of arrival. No adjustments or refunds will be made for early departures. Deposit will be forfeited on all reservations canceled due to non-receipt of full payment.
We accept payment in cash or cheque.

Check-In / Check-Out

7-day weekly rentals only (no weekends - no exceptions)
Check-In Time: 2:00 p.m.
Check-Out Time: 10:00 a.m.
The cottage must be left as it was found. Please leave used linens in a pile.

Eviction

Guests are subject to immediate eviction and removal from the vacation rental property if :

1. smoking in the vacation rental;
2. the number of occupants exceeds the number of contracted guests;
3. complaints of noise, loud music, foul language or otherwise disturbing of the peace are reported;
4. the use of tents, campers or motor homes on the rental property.

The entire amount of rent will be forfeited if eviction occurs.

Lost Keys

Guests who lose the keys to the vacation property they rented are subject to a $50 change-lock fee.

Lost and Found

We do not accept responsibility for lost or stolen items. Items found and identified by the guest will be shipped to the guest for the cost of shipping plus a $10 handling fee upon receipt of above payment.
